Rangers Algeria Indochina: An emblematic ranger
These off-road rangers were able to prove their resistance during the armed conflicts in Indochina from 1946 to 1954, then in Algeria from 1954-1962. These walking boots with attached leggings are today perfect for historical reconstructions, but also for hunting or mountain enthusiasts. Thanks to the high quality of workmanship and great care in the choice of materials, these military shoes are almost indestructible. The full-grain leather used is very strong and durable. Leather is also used for the inner lining, which ensures optimum comfort for the user. And for a better fit, the double strap flap allows for proper adjustment around the leg. The notched rubber sole also provides great stability.
A ranger that lasts is a ranger that's maintained.
To keep your shoes in good condition, it is always advisable to take good care of them. And even more so when it comes to vintage military shoes! Part of military surplus, these rangers were never worn. However, as these authentic stocks are several decades old, the shoes may show traces of storage (stains, scratches). For an optimal use, we advise you to take good care of your rangers by oiling them regularly. Similarly, before the first use, it is imperative to oil the shoes with oxford oil so that the leather regains all its suppleness and watertightness. All this maintenance will ensure that your military rangers remain indestructible.
