The 101st Airborne

The 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army, also known as the Screaming Eagles, was an elite unit specialising in airborne operations during the Second World War. It was formed in 1942 and participated in many important battles, including the Normandy invasion, the Battle of the Bulge and the liberation of Europe. The division was famous for its parachute jumping tactics and airborne combat capabilities, as well as its resilience and tenacity in the field.
